No at all. Most smartphones take digital photographs perfect for use on your ID card. We recommend a ‘passport style’ head and shoulders portrait photograph taken against a plain light-coloured background, no smaller than 600 pixels wide by 750 pixels tall in a .jpg or .png format around 800KB in size. The ideal resolution for print is 300 dpi.

Using our online ID card designer it takes just a few minutes to create your first ID card, then you simply copy and edit this for any additional cardholders.  This completes the design stage, then you just add the cards to your basket and checkout.  We receive your order immediately and if we receive it by 2pm (GMT) it will be dispatched the same working day.  

The whole process can take as little as 24 hours, postal services permitting!

Yes absolutely. In 'My Cards' click the copy button next to the card you wish to duplicate, then click edit against the new card. Repeat this process for each additional card required.

We stock Paxton Net 2 ISO proximity cards, or as we do with many customers we can order those compatible with your system simply let us know the card type.  In exceptional circumstances you can provide the blank ID cards, however these must be in their original packaging as our printers are sensitive to dust and blemishes.

We accept .jpg and .png files and recommend your images are no smaller than 800x600 pixels. Please keep file sizes less than 800KB with an ideal resolution of 300 dpi.

We use high quality Fotodek standard credit card size cards made from white premium grade 760 micron PVC plastic which conform to the ISO/IEC 7813 standard. They are 0.76 mm thick have rounded corners with a radius of 3.18 mm and measure 85.60 x 53.98 mm (3.370 x 2.125 inches).

Your ID card is intended to be seen! Normally we expect this would be displayed on the torso using a breakaway lanyard or clip, and cardholder as preferred. When not in use it should be stored away from abrasive materials or sharp objects as these can scratch the protective laninated layer. It can be cleaned as required with a soft damp cloth but avoid any harsh chemicals.  Where cards are likely to be exposed to higher levels of wear and tear, chemicals or abrasion, for example more physical roles, a fully enclosed cardholder is recommended.

No, you'll only ever pay for the cards you need, however if you expect to order frequently or require higher volumes in the future you may prefer our managed ID card service.
