The Care Show

On 29^th April – 1^st May 2025, The Photo ID Card People attended The Care Show in London for the first time. This was our fourth consecutive year of attending and exhibiting at The Care Show, but our debut in London at the ExCeL.

What it is: The Care Show is the biggest celebration of care, creating the UK’s leading social care exhibition and conference. This event focuses on building connections with care professionals, innovators in the industry, and decision makers – providing opportunities to share knowledge, network, and discover services / best practices in the care sector.

Why we were there: The care sector is built on support and safety, and as regular exhibitors we believe ID cards are a powerful tool capable of providing this reassurance and security. More than just a badge, they are a universally recognised form of identity and expertise. A personalised ID card helps employees feel valued and empowered, promoting a sense of value and belonging - a daily reminder you are part of a team, a mission, a shared vision. We know the best solutions are often small and simple, like a clear, accurate ID card that can help care teams keep people, safe, supported and recognised.

The atmosphere was genuine, vibrant, and fun, and our team loved getting into conversations in such a positive environment and discussing the benefits ID cards bring to the care sector. We connected with individuals through our “brew and biscuits” initiative - these went down a treat!

Creating a 5 star experience

We’re always seeking to understand our customer’s needs, constantly looking at ways to improve our website, ID card designer and ID portal to ensure they remain user friendly (no special skills required) and innovative. Including everything from proximity cards and QR codes, to accessories and speedy deliveries we are here to make Photo ID Cards simple and that is why we have earned five annual Trusted Service awards from Feefo.

If it isn’t broken, don’t fix it! After the excitement our giant ID cards have created over the past few years to those attending The Care Show in Birmingham, we took them to London with new novelty titles to choose from and you loved getting involved – see our Care Show reel with the giant IDs on our Linkedin…

Insights and Panel Talks

We heard incredible discussions from professionals within the care sector, along with panel talks from David Baddiel (an ambassador for the alzheimer’s society), Anna Richardson (broadcaster & alzheimer’s champion) and Rosemary Shrager (Chef, TV personality, and Author). The team gained great insight into the importance of care, and how we can help you, because ID cards are more than just a badge – they’re a symbol of identity, expertise, and belonging. At The Photo ID Card People, we are a people-first organisation that want to make your life easier, one ID card at a time.

Our Next Steps...

Since the success of the Care Show 2025, we have expanded our team so we can enhance the customer experience, ensuring that we retain a quality service as our customer base expands.
